- Principles of Cardiac Imaging
- Duration:
- 40 hrs.(5 Weeks)

- Skill Sets:
- Perform trans-thoracic echocardiography by 2D, M-Mode Doppler, Color Flow Imaging in standard positions. Appropriate indications; differential diagnosis and fluid dynamics of normal blood flow alternatives of the echocardiography will be discussed.

Regional wall motion analysis. Stress echocardiography. Myocardial, Cardiac Rupture, Ventricular Septal defect, Pericardial effusion and tamponede, Verticular aneurysm and Thrombus will be discussed.

Evaluation of mitral, aortic and tricuspid regurgitation, valvular regurgitation in normal subjects. Calculation of effective Prosthetic orifice area. Clinical impact of valvular heart disease and prosthetic valve will be discussed.
